Good night everyone! Tonight i would give some conclusions i got from my acrobatics exercise.
Like all fridays we did our warm up, pass of energy and afterwards we started the exercise we choose.

As you can read, last week i started with acrobatics bt i didnt got to a concreate conclusion. It was more the work of doing it than anything.
This week when i did my acrobatics exercise i got to control some things over my body such as equilibrum and speeds. I changed them quickly and tried to mantain a line while doing my exercise so my body wouldnt be the one doing the actions it wanted .
I was the one controlling where they were supoussed to go.

Still i dont get the main reason of all this...
would it be something to create an dinamic actor? i dont get it... i only know that i developed control over some parts of my body such as legs.

I got inspired on a ballet dancer to do this exercise.

  1. 1. You don't HAVE a body. You ARE your body. Don't think of yourself as a brain that controls a body. You are a whole person, and in order to act as such, you have to start thinking with your body, feeling how your learning doesn't necessarily go through your brain, but rather through yourself as a whole. Your body will do what you want as long as you want it with your body.

    2. It's your job to make sense of the training you are receiving. Why would developing body awareness be useful for an actor? Start getting hold of your own learning and try asking more relevant questions. I expect a much better entrey next time. take your time to think about it.

    3. It's great that you got an inspiration to do the exercise.
